State Track

Friday morning we left early and headed to Wichita for State Track. It was a cool morning with off and on drizzle. The 4x100 relay, which Staci was the alternate for didn't make it to finals. I think almost all the other QH kids placed.

Saturday afternoon it started raining, and pouring. They cleared out the stands and moved everybody into Kock Arena.

Scott and Cheyenne waiting to hear if they are going to resume the track meet. At about 1:30 or so they said they would wait until 2:30 to make a decision because it was still lightning. We decided not to wait that long and headed to the mall.

It rained off and on the rest of the afternoon and we were glad we didn't decided to sit through it. My parents didn't get home until after midnight either. it would have been a late night if we'd stayed.

Friday evening we were able to hook up with some friends from college that live in Wichita now. She is due to have a little boy in July and we are super excited for them!
