Final Four
Quivira Heights played Claflin in the first match of pool play at the 1A state tournament in Hays and won 25-10, 25-17. Their next match they defeated Linn 25-10, 25-17. The outcome of the next match wasn't so pretty. We lost to Wheatland-Grinnell 22-25, 18-25. We still came out #2 in our pool and play Centralia (39-2) at 10:00 Saturday morning. Centralia is who QH lost to in the Championship last year. Wheatland-Grinnell and Hoxie are the other 2 teams in the final four. Good Luck Lady Thunderbirds!
